I have a front load Kenmore washer. It operates up to point of the door locking. At this point the drum should start to tumble but does not. I checked the drain pump and all the wire harness connections. It spits out an E-3 code. I changed the Hall Assembly unit to no avail and because it was a cheap part.

Every reference said if this did not work to change out the Stator. Is there a way for me to test this before replacing..if so how. Is there something else I should be checking?

I appreciate any help with this matter.
