Figured it out - it plugs into the back side of the heater that I replaced. Need to re-rout the wire to the other side of the drain. But got it now.

Just replaced the water heater in my dishwasher and trying to finish putting it back together and I have an extra plug I can’t figure out where it connects. Seems silly but I’m stumped. I will try to post a picture here
