Dryer Bearing Slide (part #WE1M504) - How To Replace
classico Posted: Wednesday, June 27, 2018 5:45:26 AM(UTC)

An item of clothing is often getting stuck at the same point in the top left of the drum.

A repair guy said it looked like there used to be a foam strip around the top of the dryer front drum bearing. He said he tried to order it but it is no longer made, so nothing can be done.

However, I don't see any foam strip showing on the parts diagram on the top of the bearing. https://www.geapplianceparts.com...0/FRONT_PANEL_&_DOOR

I only see part #312 - (GE WE9M15) -- the dryer duct felt trap. This goes round the bottom and side of the bearing, not the top, and it doesn't cross the pinch point.

I replaced this part in case it was the problem, but has not fixed it.

I'm thinking the next step is to replace the glides?
