We just rented this house. The rental property came with the above-mentioned Refrigerator/Freezer combo in the kitchen. Sometimes there is loud strange airplane sounding noise coming from the Freezer side of the appliance. As part of our lease on this house, we are responsible for maintenance of this appliance. I would like to avoid a service call to a repair tech. Does anybody have any idea what might be causing the noise that I have described coming from our Refrigerator/Freezer?
