Ordered a new control panel and that resolved the problems, dishwasher ran through a complete cycle without error.

The panel has no lights but pressing the cancel/drain button drains the dishwasher and eventually the pump stops running.
Pressing start goes right in to a cycle with the Pots/Pans, Drying, Hi-Temp Rinse lights lit. Leaving it running will result in the cancel light and 4/6 delay lights coming on.
Canceling drains but never resets the unit and it goes right back to starting mid-way through a pots/pans cycle.

Powered off for minutes without change.
Left it running through a complete cycle as according to a different site the unit can get "confused" when it's lost power and has to complete the cycle even if it takes 3-4 hours. It ran for 4 hours and ended with just the Clean light lit but panel did not respond, pressing cancel drained and put us back to starting mid-way through a pots/pans cycle.
Assume it's not something inexpensive like a thermal fuse but thought I'd ask if anyone had seen these symptoms before buying a new control board.
