It sounds like an igniter. Can you see a glow from the oven igniter?

If not, does it have 120 volts to it?

Its also possible to have a weak igniter that will glow, but night light.

Hi. I'm still hoping for some thoughtful feedback. Thanks.

Hi, I have a GE gas oven/stovetop (Mod # JGBP28SEJ1SS). The stove top burners ignite and create a flame fine. It also seems that the oven heats up when set to Broil. However, when the oven is set to Bake it does not heat up.

Based on some of the other threads I have read it sounds like I might need to replace the igniter. Would someone mind providing any thought on if the igniter is the issue and/or if there is something else I should be considering?

If it is the only the igniter I assume I need part #AP2014008

Thanks.
