Had a service person come out. Despite being only seven years old the Samsung washer is now just junk. Repair cost is over $800 just for parts. Apparently the mounting brackets for the drum are completely corroded and disintegrating.

Our Samsung front-loading washer has started spitting out dark gray grit from the discharge hose. The filter by the pump has caught a few chunks about half inch across. The material is hard as rock and is not attracted to a magnet. The drum seems to wobble. The pump is draining fine. Any ideas?
