Thanks for your quick reply. Turns out the heating element coil is broken. Heats up fine when reconnected. Appreciate the advice.

As for no heat, Is the heating element broken...(coils)

My dryer stops during the cycle and it seems like the heating element doesn't get hot. I have continuity on the thermal limit switch and I'm the dryer thermal fuse but not on the thermistor. I am hoping that replacing the thermostat will correct the problem. Any ideas?
