In order to better assist you please double check the model number and post it. The one you've listed isn't showing up on our list.

My girlfriend's Kenmore dryer won't power up. Nothing happens when I press the start button. I did the following tests:
-Continuity test on the start button (ok)
-Voltage test on the power outlet (240v)
-Continuity test that failed on the buzzer, I changed it, same result. I guess a continuity test on a buzzer is invalid
-When I open the door, the light does not turn on even though the bulb and the light socket passed their continuity tests
-Continuity test on the thermal fuse (ok)
-Continuity test on the heating element (ok)

I'm at a loss. Could it be the timer? Is there any way the power wouldn't reach the dryer? Could it be a faulty cable, and if so, how can I test it?

Thanks in advance
