Dissembled drain pump
Found peace of broken glass which apparently prohibited pump from correctly functioning
Debated whether to remove dishwasher and randomly take apart to try to find cause then decided to do so
Perhaps that will help some other poor sap in my same shoes

I have a whirlpool dishwasher that randomly stopped draining the other day. It runs a full cycle but has water in when done. Tried pushing drain button to no avail. It is not a clogged drain hose or blocked disposal plug.

Any advice?

Any way to determine it's a faulty drain pump without a multimeter or other tool I do not own?

Thanks
