Hello, I am in desperate need of help to fix this microwave and surely open to any suggestions. Thank you in advance. ** Correct Model Number MMV5208WS-1 **

The microwave was working until about a month ago and it quit heating food at all. It started making a sound that was different than we were used to; more of a hum than we previously remembered. I tried to heat a glass of water and it tripped the breaker and blew 2 fuses on the inside of the unit.

I have since replaced the diode and door switches as I read online these are a common failure point; didn't help. I have tried to check the magnetron and capacitor with some online videos; I believe these are checking good with about an 85% confidence level.

Not sure where to go from here; this was an expensive new and I really hate to trash it. The local repair shop is asking too much to look at it and said it's usually cheaper to replace than have them repair microwaves.

I'm all ears, if someone can push me in a directions for troubleshooting it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
D
