It is sort of tan, yellowish. I know it is old. Trying to figure out if it is worth fixing.

I'm pretty sure the second to last number is color code.
"W" is for white
Yours is "N". I can't remember what "N" stood for. What color is your washer? Is it Kind of a tan color?
The part should be the same, no matter the case color.

I re-checked and the model is LA5400XSNO.

yes, it used to click now that you mentioned it but it does not now.

Could this be your model number? LA5400XSW0
I'm wondering if it could be your lid switch? Does your lid switch "click" when you close the lid?

My very old washer will not spin or drain. It does agitate but stops right after the agitation. It has worked great up until today. I have not problems for 20 20 years. Any videos on how to fix? thanks Nancy
