The motor should reverse to pump out. When I used to work on these, I found all kinds of stuff stuck in the screens and impeller area. Another thing I used to see all the time was a cracked impeller. It cracks and leaks water into the motor shaft rusting it and sticking the impeller on the shaft. It can make the job a lot harder. The impeller kit is here, there is a video too. Doesn't drain any water. Hose not clogged. Motor runs.
Besides the impeller, what else could cause the problem?
Is the motor supposed to reverse to pump?
