It should be attached with a wire/spring band. This band belongs in the groove around the bellows holding it on the lip inside the door.

Hello,

I live in an apartment that was provided with a washer and dryer by the landlord. The washer is a Whirlpool Duet front loading. It continually smells moldy so I went to clean the bellows and it was caked in mold/mildew. In the process the bellows slipped and I am not sure how to get it back on properly or how it should be fitted on/where it attaches to/etc.

There is a heavy dryer on top of it and it is pushed into a closet so I cannot take it out to remove the top or anything like that.

I just need to know if the bellows attaches itself to the actual washing drum part of the washer and how to get it back on.
