This might be a little far fetched, but I've actually had problems similar to yours with other microwaves / wifi units nearby. Something with the waves in the air. Do you have any units like that nearby?

I have a Panasonic above the range inverter microwave. It powers up for about 14 seconds then shuts of. The screen show refer to operating instruction. Any idea? Clock works. Thank-you, Gary
