Look under the lid along the back edge of the rim for the model serial number tag. What's the model number? Should read like LSQ9010PW3

If that model is similar then I use 90 weight gear oil, however! There is a specific lube you can buy http://www.appliancepartspros.c...il-350572-ap3072960.html
which whirlpool recommends and is 60 weight non detergent. Its only about 18 bucks which ain't bad.

I am replacing the ring and pinion gears and I need to know what type, weight and quantity of oil is required. Thank you!
