Oil won't last, use grease. Teflon works best.

The lubricant is used on the roller shafts. I don't think you need lubricant on the other parts, because it can attract lint and slow things down. If you do decide to go that route use a high temp lubricant and not the things you listed.

Is the lubricant used for the bottom of the idler pulley, the idler pulley bearing surfaces, or the dryer rollers/bearing surfaces?
Can I use a commercial lube rather than the Maytag part? 3 in 1 oil? 10W? grease? I can't believe that they would use graphite in a dryer handling clothing. Thanks

Just replaced the idler pulley and drum rollers (and shafts) on this dryer with parts I ordered from you. Question - the old parts seem to have been lubricated at some point in the past. Do the pulley/drum rollers need lubrication? If so, what's a suitable lubricant? Thank you Bob
