Being it has a electronic control board I would guess it could have been damaged from a power surge when your power come back on.

Take a look at the control board on top to see if anything looks burnt up on it.

My dryer keeps turning off after about 10-15 seconds. It will restart right away and if I keep restarting it, I can feel that the heat is kicking in. Also, I have tried all the sensor settings and on timed dry, and it doesn't matter, it keeps turning off.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, or if it is just a coincidence, but we lost power due to a storm the day before, but then, we have lost power before and not had a problem.
