It's usually a diode on the control board that goes bad. I took mine out and saw a diode that is labeled "oven". They don't sell these as a replacement part so I had to buy the entire board.
The board controls the oven heat, timer, broil, and clock. When the board goes out, the oven element will not come on, but other functions may still work.

How does the control board keep the elements from not hearing? Particularly since I can still set the bake/broil/self clean to the timer? I appreciate your previous response and your future one too. Thank you Cletus!

bake element fried; replaced quickly (thank you). Still
Doesn't work. In trying to troubleshoot, found that broiler element is t working either. Top burners and clock display all work fine. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
