Look inside the lower service panel or under the top cover for some tech notes. They will tell you how to put the machine in diagnostic mode, generate error codes and interpret them.
Focus on the door lock mechanism at first.

Ok my Mom and Started a Load of Wash, It never finished. This is a Front Load Washer. They were able to remove the wet clothes. I later went and tried to do a load for testing. Pressed Power then Normal Wash then Cold water. Pressed Start the Door Locked. But nothing happened I waited and waited and finally the Washer Light Blinked 6 times then 1 time so I think it is a Code 61. The Washer also Beeped 3 times rapidly. Could this be a Motor Control Board? or something else I have some mechanicel knowledge for replairing cars so I figured I can turn the bolt and replace parts as needed.
