Operate it with that front panel off and you will be able to tell if the motor is working but the transmission is not, or that the motor is not working.

The spin cycle has suddenly quit working. The items being washed are soaked when the wash cycle is finished. I pulled the bottom panel off and the belt and pulley both look fine. No cracks or shiny spots where it is slipping. What do I do next? Is there something else I can look at or shall I go buy a new washer?
