This sounds like a control unit problem since the other cycles work. Look inside the lower service panel for tech notes that may enable you to troubleshoot it. If you cannot put it into a diagnostic mode than that is further evidence of a control unit issue.

suddenly the normal cycle shows 125 minutes but will not work ...all other cycles work fine
