Sounds like a timer/control unit/selection switch issue. Also, if you set it on other settings does it not operate or still just operate in the gentle cycle?

Washing machine agitates only on gentle speed regardless of knob indication, and spins only on low rpm. Even when switch is on normal. Can someone help me with this problem?
