Thought I would pass this along. So I found out that I can adjust the motor to the drive gear...thus I did that and it ounds alot better, so we'll see if that is the trick. Ill post again in a week.

Trash compactor has worked great for a long time. Finally had to change the ram stops, and while I was at it, I changed the gear drives as well. Everything worked great for a couple days, and then when the ram would get to the bottom (or close to it), it would make a really loud sound. After further inspection, it was the gears stripped out. So I replaced them again, only to have the same thing happen. Any ideas why the gears keep stripping out?

Thanks
