I think there is problem with the inner circuit or connection in oven which you can't repair yourself. If your oven is still in warranty period then you should replace it or else call a professional to fix this problem.

I have a modern maid range phu201uk abt mid 90s model started beeping at times when oven was on and hit cancel clock to stop. then over a few months timer would beep for no reason and soon one day had a continuous tone would unplug range and plug back in and would stop for a while but start again had to unplug the ribbon cable from control board under range and of course clock does not work now. had made another minor repair on range recently and decided to plug cable back in and see what happens. the display now flickers and the buttons don't respond and tone starts after a few minutes. could it be the timer itself bad ribbon cable or circuit board. also w/o timer working the self clean no longer works could this be bypassed so at least the self clean works? oven and igniters and cooktop function normally ant help would be appreciated
