Model number in Canada is C2S980SEMSS but I think it is the same as the CGS980SEM1SS.

The electric lower oven has suddenly stopped working. Its a push/turn knob and I can feel resistance on the push and hear a definite click of the thermostat. No light comes on and it doesn't work. We seldom use it but its getting close to Christmas when we will be using it alot.

Would like to know what the problem is and the lease expensive path to diagnose and repair. I intend to do it myself - quite handy mechanically and electrically.
