In any case 106 tells you very little all it designates is that it was made by Whirlpool and they make lots of different units for Sears.

A model number would be helpful.
Sears/Kenmore numbers are 3 digits, a period and then an additional 8 digits.

Also "stopped working" does not tell us much, could you please give more info.
What works and what does not re: fans, lights, compressor etc. plus any additional info you think will help.
