I have a Whirlpool Super Capacity 465 30" gas range, model # SF357 PEKQ 1, in a rental house.
A month ago, the oven wouldn't get up to cooking temperature. The burner lit, but would only run for a minute or so before cutting out. I installed a new temperature sensor, and though the burner cycled several times during the warmup period, it eventually got hot. Problem solved... I thought.:(

Now, both the oven and broiler burners ingite, but they shut off in just a couple seconds. The oven burner will reignite a couple more times during the warmup period, but quickly extinguishes.

Am I stuck with replacing the gas distribution valve, the Electronic Oven Control (ERC), or is there another solution?
