Hi.

If you will get the pump and motor complete assembly all you need to do is remove and replace it.

The motor /pump Part number: W10247394
Part number: W10247394

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Whirlpool DU840CWDB5 UNDERCOUNTER DISHWASHER | AppliancePartsPros.com

Thank you. Post the results.

Simon.

It looks like the leak is coming from the pump. Should I just replace the whole pump assembly? If I buy the pump assembly, does it already have all the gaskets and seals in it? What about the seals for the motor shaft? Anything else that I'm missing?
