Hey Richappy or anybody else,
Then, do you have any idea what the black button in the middle of the temperature knob might be? When pressed in, the fridge shuts off initially for 20-30 minutes and starts back on and runs on and off fine from then on, if I pull the button out, the fridge seems to run continuously without shutting off.

This is probably not a self defrosting refrigerator, will need ocasional defrosting.

I recently was given a mini fridge that was sold by Montgomery wards model # LGS-1010B. I can not find any info on this fridge or who made it for wards. I would like to find an owners manual for it. The temperature control knob in the fridge has an off setting and then the numbers 1-10 on it which I assume as you turn the knob to a higher number that the fridge gets colder. The knob also has a small black button in the middle of it that when pushed in seems to shut off the fridge. Does anyone know what this black button inside the control knob does when pushed in or pulled out? Is it a defrost setting for the small freezer? I can not find an owners manual anywhere for this fridge so any help would be appreciated.
