What is the complete model number of the microwave?

Did you figure it out? Was it the Magetron tube? Was the timer stopping at all?

I have a similar problem it seems to be related to excess condesation

Most likely the problem with your microwave caused by the magnetron tube.

The part has 5 years limited (part only) warranty with GE, but you are still liable for any labor charges.

- The part number for the magnetron tube is AP3203599

Good luck.
Gene.

Microwave does not heat properly. At times it will not heat at all (seems to be when something lets off a lot of steam), but it will recover when it dries out. At this point, it seems to be working at a lower wattage as everything takes longer to heat than it used to. Can anyone help and let me know if this is something that can be repaired and is it under warranty for this type of repair? Thanks
