My dryer does not get hot. I took the lower front panel off and I do not see any flame. My understanding is the igniter is supposed to heat up and this lights the flame. It doesn't heat up and the gas doesn't come on (I assume this is a safety feature) so there is no fire.

I ordered the part below and replaced it today. I still have no heat. I checked for voltage at the connector I unplugged to remove the assembly and I didn't read any. Do you think there is a problem further back up the line with power or did I possibly get a defective part?

Thanks for the help.
