The problem with your dryer is bad coils on the gas valve. Replace the coils, Part number: AP2150379
Part number: AP2150379
and the dryer should be back to normal.

To get access to the coils you have to remove the front panel.

Good luck.
Gene.

It heats up when there is no wet laundry inside of it. But when I have a load in it it does not seem to heat up and is cold inside at the end of the cycle. It is really close to the vent. Thanks for your help.

It does not heat or it takes very long time to dry? Is it cold or warm inside the dryer at the end of the cycle? Were the dryer is located and how far from the dryer is the vent outlet?
Gene.

My dryer runs but does not heat up to dry clothes in any of the settings. We cleaned out the hose of lint and it still doesn't heat/dry. What could be the problem? :(
