A few loads ago Washer originally started making a very load screaching noise in spin cycle......now it also makes noise (though not as loud) when in wash cycle. I checked your blog site first and ruled out the following.......Belt is in good shape; washer drains fine; motor pulley turns smooth and freely; transmission pulley (big wheel) turns freely one way and has resistance the other. The pump pulley turns but not smooth at all.....checked the pump out - no clogs. Even apart the pump pulley is very rough turning............should the pump pulley turn smoothly. Do you think its the pump pulley (pump) that needs to be replaced.

Thanks
