Pull out the back freezer panel and check frost pattern, may be defrost failure.

i have replaced defrost timer.but inside refg is to warm.also alittle ice built up on back panel of freezer compartment.still keeps food frozen.but stops making ice.could this be a thermostst problem along with defrost heater?
i have already replaced defrost timer work fine for 3 weeks.not much ice back of freezer panel.
