Most probable suspect is the control board AP4044079. Should confirmwith voltage measurements.

I loaned my brother my Maytag Neptune to use and my existing cord was a 4 wire so I changed out the cord to a 3 wire (not the receptacle but the cord) and it powered up at first but I forgot to ground the block (yes it shocked me) so I grounded the block and now it will not power up at all....no matter how I wire it up.
so I believe that I might have shorted something out for the receptacle and the block is getting 240 juice and my brothers old dryer still works when plugged it.

What could have happened and what part do I need to fix it. (control board??)
