Ihave a problem, I think the gear is stripped. I had this problemonce before and I had a repairman come out and he said that is what it was andput on a new gear wheel and explained to me how to properly use to make sure itdidn’t happen again. Well, it hasn’t been long at all, and while I didn’tdo have a hard item in there this time, something else caused it to quitworking again. It makes a continuous “thumping” noise when you lift up on thefoot petal to initiate packing. Is this something I could fixmyself. I have already gotten it out of the cabinet and looked at the motor,but, I think it is the same gear problem again. It is about 4 yearsold I guess and the model number is S58NXMJH-6657.
