Just to add my 2 cents...

If there is nothing wrong with the water valve and the water line then test the optic boards. The problem could be there and not the ice maker itself. You can use the instructions and the part numbers from one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...makes-little-no-ice.html

Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear. If it does, the ice maker is the problem.

Refig. has water coming to it - water dispenses from water port in front of refig. just fine. No water going in to icemaker. I can't see any issues why it is not working - no jams, frozen pipe, etc.
