All the ice makers have the same mold volume, fill time is between 7 and nine seconds, that's what I do when I manually fill.

You have the Module type i/m. You'll need to try and "catch" it acting up. Usually, on that i/m the module can go bad and produce long(double) fill times. Average fill time is a few seconds. If you notice a longer than normal fill time, I'd replace the I/M. Average fill is about 4-5 oz.:) wrench

i have a kenmore fridge model106.70172990 that has a ice maker made by whirlpool#4317943.for the second time in two months the ice maker fills up and then doesn't eject the cubes.water then continues to overflow into the cube basket until it freezes into a block of ice.the water feed tube then also freezes up.should i replace the whole ice maker or is the water valve defective.i don't know what to do.
