i checked the probe and the wires i have no short and the probe is good i noticed if i wiggled the probe connecter i sometines lose the reading i tried to use black tape to hold it so does not move it worked but once everything was put back together it still gave me a F-31 code what else could it be thanx

what is the easiest way to repair or replace the harness how could it short out could i replace the 2 purple wires only? or does the whole harness have to be replaced

Hi Ruben,

Check for shorted RTD harness between EOC (oven control) & Probe connector.

Let us know what you find.

my oven will not come on I get an F31 code on my control panel the manual recommends changing the RTD Probe which I did I still continue to get the same code after replacing the RTD probe. any suggestions or any advice
