Here is the part, which is much more complex than most valve assemblies and much more expensive. Sorry about that

Part number: AP4354804
Part number: AP4354804

If you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it, see the returns policy for details and conditions.

Good luck

I would change out the valve assembly and see if that fixes the temp thing.

In the warm setting it only washes in HOT. And the stopping during a cycle happens occasionally, and during any of the temp settings.

See if it will wash in the cold or warm setting and in the warm setting make sure you are getting warm and not hot.

We need to rule out or rule in the valve assembly.

Thank you for your advice!! Since my original question it has worked in the cold setting a few times but quits after 2-3 loads. It will rinse in cold during those 2-3 times. It will also stop during a cycle just before the final rinse and spin. ??????? So confused!!!! :(

If it will rinse, which uses cold water then the cold water valve is ok so it is either the timer or temp switch. Try replacing the temp switch, this part here.
