Pull the back freezer panel and describe the frost pattern, then measure freezer temperature. After running a lot, it should be below zero.

A few days ago I noticed that the ice maker wasn't producing ice. I cleaned the grate below the front door of the refrigerator and removed a lot of dog fur (St. Bernard who is shedding here in San Diego). It helped. Am getting small amounts of ice cubes again, but the refrigerator is warmer than it should be. Is there anything I can do before calling repair guy? Money is tight. Thanks.
