First Make Sure There Is 240 Volts Going To Dryer.

The first thing I would check is the thermal fuse. Check the thermal fuse for continuity and replace if it's open. The thermal fuse - The part number for the thermal fuse AP3132867 Also check the vent, the air ducts inside the dryer and the blower. Looks like the dryer was overheated. Gene.

:confused: Hoping someone can help. My electric dryer recently stopped drying, it runs but doesn't heat. I just changed the heating element, thermostat and cut off fuse at the same time and heating element came on. I thought it was fixed but stopped heating within 30 minutes?? Any idea on what else it could be, wiring seems in tact. Could it be the dryer thermostat??
