I hadn't heard anything yet, so I read your thread and that gave me a place to start. Thanks...

Sounds like you and I have the same problem. I have a slightly different model of Frigidaire dryer. I posted my problem yesterday. I've been told by a couple of people that I need a new drum slide kit and a new gasket. I'm trying to find out if that's right and how difficult the install is. Have you heard anything more on yours? Maybe we can help each other out!

Often when I do a load of laundry, some piece of clothing will get a corner "stuck" in the area where the drum meets the door. When I manage to release the clothing, the part that was stuck is invariably covered with dark brown streaks that I have not been able to remove. Any insight on what could be causing this?

Thanks,
Robin
