Through looking around on the internet I found a site which explained how to remove the outer housing of the clothes washer and repair the coupling between the motor and the transmission which was the problem. A local Sears Parts center had the $15.00 part and I have installed it and it works great. Good luck to you all...:D

I have a sears clothes washer that has stopped agitating, I feel that the coupling between motor and transmission is a fault. I need help on the part number and instructions:) on how to go about fixing it myself. Every thing else is in working order it just does not want to agitate, will spin, and empty the water.
