Thanks. I figured it out after closely inspecting the inlet. I had been trying to insert it from the top; went at it from below, it snapped right in.

Trying to reinstall a new bleach dispenser and gasket in Maytag LAT9700AAW washer. Very tight fit. Unable to get dispenser and gasket to seat. New parts match old. Suggestions as to how to make this work?
