If you find the unit washes, but just never gets up to full spin speed, the door lock is probably the cause. I wrote about this problem in a post Frigidaire Washer Won't Spin on my blog. Give it a look and see if this sounds like your problem.

Can you check your model number please. I am guessing you have a Frigidaire built front loader, but the model isn't is a normal Kenmore format. If the washer washes but never spins, I may have a solution for you.

Spin cycle just stopped. Replaced control panel w/ circut board & still, no change. Checked the door & soap drawer & drain hose. I went through all cycles and it washes fine w/ barrel movement. The drain pump is louder than normal, but still pumps water and hose is clear. Could the pump have worn out impellers and not send a signal that starts spin cycle ? What next ? Please Help, my wife is giong nuts ! I can't get anyone to come out untill next week.
