Dear Cuch,

**Please be sure to disconnect power before servicing***

According to the manufacturer the wire diagram shows the orange wires are your common line.

One orange wire will go to one terminal on the coil for the hot water.
One orange wire will go to one terminal on the coil for the cold water.

The purple wire belongs to the other terminal on the coil for the hot water The tan wire belongs to the other terminal on the coil for the cold water.

To double check this you will need to refer to the wire diagram located on the dryer itself. If uncomfortable with installing the valve consult a qualified technician.

Can someone provide details on where the four colored wires should be connected, two wires are orange (which I assume is the common), one purple, and one tan wire. This is the part number of the valve I need to wire AP2618763.

Thanks in advance!
