Hi n1020m

Most likely the problem with your dishwasher is a bad key pad, but before making a final decision I would recommend to run the key pad test according to the Whirlpool technical documentation (attached to this post).

Good luck.
Gene.

Which ever cycle has been chosen it switches to China Crystal by itself.

Hi n1020m

I need to know exactly what is wrong: some keys won't respond or which ever cycle has been chosen it switched to China Crystal by itself?

Gene.

Whichever of the Sensing Wash CYCLES that we select, the China Crystal cycle starts and runs to completion. Do we need a new electronic control module, or, perhaps there is a way to RESET the control module. Any ideas as to what may be required? We live in Florida, the lightning capital of the US.

This unit is the Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner III and was installed in 2001.
Thanks!
