Your agitator dogs have worn out. This is a available part from any part supplier and are less than 10 dollars. Pull the cap off the center of your agitator and you will see a 7/16 bolt. Pull the bolt and then slide the agitator assy off the transmission shaft. then hold the agitator dog holder in the center to keep from falling out when you turn the agitator upside down. that way you will see the placement of the 4 dogs for reassembly. 15 minute job at best. good luck.

Agitator not revolving during wash-cycle, but, can be rotated by hand freely in either direction during wash-cycle. Otherwise, washing machine runs complete cycle and clothes are not thoroughly cleaned.

What is the part that most likely would have failed? I hope it's not one that has been discontinued. I don't want to take the washer apart to find out the part is not available.
